As I begin my third year as Head of School at Potter Street Academy, I continue to feel incredibly proud and privileged to lead this very special school community.

Over the past two years, I have had the opportunity to get to know our children and families more and more. The better I understand our families, their individual stories, their personalities and all the little nuances that make our community what it is, the more Potter Street feels like home. It is these relationships that make our school so much more than simply a place of learning.

At Potter Street, we firmly believe that every child, regardless of their background or circumstances, deserves the very best start in life. Our responsibility is not only to help children achieve academically, but to ensure they feel safe, valued and understood, while giving them the experiences, confidence and opportunities that will help shape their futures.

I could not be prouder of the team of staff we have at Potter Street. Every member of our team genuinely has the best interests of our children at heart. They care deeply about the children they work with and continually go above and beyond to support them, encourage them and help them flourish. It is a team I feel enormously fortunate to lead.

I would also like to thank our parents and carers for the continued faith you place in us. Entrusting a school with the education, care and development of your children is no small thing, and we never take that responsibility for granted. Thank you for trusting in our ability not only to serve your families, but to grow alongside them as your children make their journey through Potter Street.

Our school is at its strongest when children, families and staff work together. As we continue that journey, I am excited about what lies ahead and remain as committed as ever to ensuring Potter Street Academy is a school where every child is known, valued and given every opportunity to succeed.
